FUNNY CLOWN FACE MOBILE PROJECT

1. Take a piece of heavy weight stabilizer and hoop. Run your placement line for fabric. Remove from hoop and attach 1 of your pieces of ribbon to stabilizer. We used a glue stick to tack ribbon in place. Now lay down your applique fabric and return to hoop. Stitch out your tack down stitch, remove from machine and trim fabric. Be careful not to trim off the ribbon at the top. Now finish stitching out your design.

2. Repeat steps above on the rest of your Clown designs.

3. Take your 10 4x4 pieces of fabric for the backs of the clowns and heat set your 4x4 Heat and Bond to them. Now take one of your clowns and lay it face down on the ironing board. Take one of your 4x4 fabric squares and remove the paper backing from it and lay tack side down on your clown and heat set. (See photo). Repeat with the remaining clowns.

4. Take a sharp pair of scissors and trim around clowns, being careful not to trim satin border. Also pay close attention to your ribbon when trimming near it.

5. Take your 2 pieces of wood and paint color of your choice. We used white. Let dry.

6. Now take your wood, find the center point and nail or screw together. Then screw in eye hook in the center of the top and attach your 20 inch piece of ribbon thru the eye hook and tie a bow.

7. Find a place where you can hang your mobile and attach your clowns to it by tying a knot at the top. You can hand your clowns any length you like. After attaching clowns to mobile, take your scrap yarn or ribbon and attach it where ever you like to add more color to the mobile. Hang and let your little one enjoy.

Please be sure when hanging your mobile to keep it far enough that your little one cannot reach it!!.
