Unzip Email Tutorial 

Step 1) First you will receive an email from us within 24 hours that looks something like this bellow. This is an Outlook Express email, You will notice the folders to the right of the word attach. These are zip files that we have emailed you. Zip files are basically one compressed file with many files in it. Each of these contain your order. The first email attachment is the designs in this example. The Country Mouse 5x7 (PES). You will double click on these words.

Step 2) A box will pop up that says Mail Attachment. Then click open

Step 3) Then a box similar to the one below will be displayed. This is a preview of what files are in the zipfile. We must extract it and place on your computer. Double Click Extract all files on the left under folder tasks.

Step 4) Next an "Extraction Wizard" box will come up click next. 

Step 5) Next you will need to select a destination for your designs. DO NOT CLICK next without setting up  a folder that you know where your designs are. We'll show you! Click Browse, and look for the "My Documents". This is generally at the top. So scroll up.

Step 6) After you find the "My Documents" folder, click on it. Then click the lower left on make new folder. Give the folder an organized name like "Sew Swell Country Mouse 5x7" Then click OK.

Step 7) Now that you have setup a folder you can find, finish the Extraction Wizard. Click next.

Step 8) The Dialog box below will appear. Click Finish

Step 9) A Dialog window like the one below will appear. Your designs are safely saved onto your computer in "My Documents." To get these to your embroidery machine, you'll use your native software that came with your embroidery machine or that you purchased. Some machines do not require any software simply copy and paste the designs to a memory stick or floppy. If you are unfamiliar with this process, you should visit your dealer. Most good dealers demonstrate this for free! Remember to find your designs in the future start in "My Documents" and look for the folder you named like "Sew Swell Country Mouse 5x7"
